School Direct Fees


The tuition fees for School Direct in Scarborough schools is £9250.


All students on non salaried School Direct routes are entitled to identical government grants and loans as those students undertaking PGCE courses at university.  Finance can be arranged through the Students Loan Company (SLC) full tuition fee loan will be available for the full amount and will only begin repayments once you are earning over £21000.

Maintenance Loans

The maximum Maintenance Loan for new students starting from 1 September 2015 is:

  • £5,740 if you live away from home and study at a university or college outside London £4565 if you live at home

Help for specific groups of students

There may be additional, non-repayable help for students with children and adult dependants, and for students with a disability.
