SLEs are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the necessary skills and experience to support teams or individuals in other schools.
SLEs have at least 2 years leadership experience in a particular specialism (e.g. Early Years, ICT, English)
They help others achieve outstanding leadership in their area of specialism and ensure that all teachers are delivering the best possible education for children.
We recruit and manage the placements of SLE.
This involves:
- Identifying subject area priorities within our alliance
- Organising training for SLEs
- Negotiating SLE work across a range of partnerships
- Ensuring that SLEs are providing high-quality support that is having a positive impact on teaching and learning for the alliance and its partners
Further information about SLEs, and the support they offer, can be found here.
